I am 2 semesters away from graduating from Texas A&M in San Antonio with my Early Childhood-6th grade generalist degree, and my K-12 Special education degree.
Experience
I have worked as both a paraprofessional, and substitute teacher for the last 20 years. My work experience is mostly with elementary level students, I have been an interpreter for the deaf, worked with children who have been diagnosed with behavior disorders, and Autism in both the general classroom, and the resource room. While working in the general classroom, I also worked with the other students on a daily basis. At this time, I am wanting to use my education, skills, and the time that I am not in my own classes to tutor, so I can continue working with children while I finish my degree.
